Unless absolutely necessary, senior citizens should avoid going outdoors as they have a weaker immune system, making them more vulnerable to catch diseases like COVID-19.
Extra precautions are needed when dealing with the elderly, however, some of them tend to disobey such orders.
For Rocco Nacino, whose both mother and father are in their 60s, the best way to help elderly family members stay at home is by primarily educating them about the present coronavirus.
The registered nurse/navy reservist/actor said, "For me, the best way talaga is to educate people, ikukuwento sa kanila kung ano ang mangyayari.
Rocco added that it takes a lot of patience and understanding in communicating with them as they are difficult to deal with because of their old age.
He said, "Alam ko lahat tayo may problem with the elders na hindi nakikinig.
"More on mag-suggest tayo nang mag-suggest baka mas okay limitahan natin 'yung paglabas ny'o.
