Netflix upcoming series "Kaos" just got a show page and here are the details so far
Whether it's in the topic of arts, philosophy, literature, and even media, Greek mythology has a heavy influence on western culture.
And who could blame them? Greek mythology boasts tales of greed, war, lust, love, passion, and vengeance all traversed into one single medium.
This is why streaming giant Netflix will tread the same path as they announced the latest addition to their award-winning roster --- “Kaos.”
In 2018, Netflix was given an order to produce the highly anticipated first season of Kaos which will feature a darkly comedic and contemporary reimagining of Greek folklore.
So what should we anticipate? Here are some details:
1. Netflix releasing a show page

Although it is still unclear when will the first season drop, the streaming site has already hinted that it may happen in the near future given the fact that the details page for the show has turned up on Netflix.
It says, “This genre-bending series puts a modern twist on Greek and Roman mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power, and life in the underworld.
2. 10-episode series

According to an interview for the Radio Times in 2019, writer Charlie Covell said that the show will run for 10 episodes in the first season. She said, “It's a 10-hour series for Netflix, and hopefully with a kind of Game of Thrones scale but should feel End of the World-y in terms of humor.”
3. Filming may or may not have started

In the same interview, Charlie also shared that the show was in pre-production and was slated for 2020 production. She mentioned, “I've just delivered my third draft of the pilot, and episode two and three are nearly ready to go to Netflix. So, if we get to do it, we should be filming late June next year, and then it would be on screen by 2021.”
However, this has obviously been upended due to the novel coronavirus which has shut down the entire entertainment industry.
Whether or not this will be released anytime soon, the series has already generated buzz online with fans eagerly waiting for the first season to drop.
Here are some reactions since the release of the show page:
