Kapuso TV newscast Unang Hirit announced that it will go off air temporarily following the enhanced community quarantine.

After limiting its running time last week, the management behind Unang Hirit has decided to go off air in the meantime.

The news program made the announcement on their Instagram page, saying, “Kapuso, pansamantala po munang hindi mapapanood ang #UnangHirit kasunod ng Enhanced Community Quarantine. Bisitahin ang Unang Hirit social media accounts at tutukan ang GMA, GMA News TV at DZBB para sa mga pinakabagong balita at mahahalagang impormasyon kontra COVID-19."

Meanwhile, Kapuso channel GMA News TV has already returned on air after it signed off temporarily.

GMA Network has also suspended its live shows and productions in accordance with the enhanced community quarantine. The network has adjusted its programming and is set to re-air Encantadia, My Husband's Lover, Ika-6 Na Utos, and other award-winning Kapuso shows.
