The pageant is the latest casualty of the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the whole globe.
In her Instagram post, Kelley was visibly sad about the postponement, but she knows that safety is the number one priority during this time that we have a public health emergency.
She wrote, "Unfortunately, due to the severity of the Corona Virus outbreak, Miss Eco International 2020 has been officially postponed until June 1, 2020 tentatively.
"This is very sad for all of us, but as our health and safety is the number one priority of the organization, the decision to postpone is for the best.
"Thank you to everyone who has expressed their concern, care, and unconditional support and I hope you continue to do so."
What's more, the Pinay beauty queen also paid tribute to all the medical professionals who are tirelessly working to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
"Let us all stay safe, and continue to pray for the recovery of those affected by the virus.
"Also, a HUGE thank you to the doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff that have been risking their lives for us.
"We will collectively overcome this pandemic, provided we remain smart, selective with our travel, and supportive towards one another. No discrimination - we are all equals in this situation. ....also chill out with the tissue roll!"
