Krista Ranillo isn't exempted in her husband's business policy.

Just because you are the wife of the owner, that doesn't exempt you from company policy.

This is what former actress Krista Ranillo learned during a grocery run in her husband's very own store yesterday, March 15.

In a post made on Instagram, Krista noted that she was stopped at the cashier for buying three sacks of rice.

She wrote on the social media site, “Last night, I tried to buy 3 sacks of rice and the store manager Anne in Santa Clarita was very apologetic in telling me that per my husband's policy, all customers are limited to 2 sacks of 25lbs rice or 1 sack of 50lbs rice.

“She told me that my husband said no exception even for his friends and family. So proud of you, Anne. You did the right thing.”

The former actress even brought light to the situation by turning it around and saying “no” to a request made by her husband.

She added, “To my husband @ninojeff we will talk later. Next time you ask me for another child, my policy is no more.”

Krista Ranillo is married to a Filipino-Chinese businessman Nino Lim who owns a popular Filipino supermarket called “Island Pacific” which has 16 locations primarily in California and Las Vegas.

In a post made by the management, the company has pledged honest pricing but will limit the quantity per customer so that it can meet the demand without inflating the selling price.

Similarly, Island Pacific has taken the necessary steps in addressing the novel coronavirus outbreak by increasing the frequency and intensity of its store's sanitation by cleaning its shopping carts, doors, restrooms, and dining areas.

They have also provided sanitation wipes and antibacterial dispensers by the entrance and exit doors.

As of writing, the United States of America has already surpassed 3,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and the death toll climbed to at least 60.

Their head of state, United States President Donald Trump took the test a few days ago and came back negative after his exposure to an infected Brazilian official.
