Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez just won her first Best Actress award at the QCinema International Film Festival 2019.
Janine was recognized for her role in the movie Babae at Baril, where she plays an ordinary saleslady whose life shifted after discovering a gun at her doorstep.
The was directed by Rae Red and even brought home the Best Director and Gender Sensitivity award.

In a report by Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, Janine shared that she can't wait to show her new award to mom, Lotlot de Leon, who has been supportive in her showbiz career.
Furthermore, she says that she didn't expect to win and dedicates it to her family and fans.
Babae at Baril will be shown in theaters until October 22.
