Actress Lotlot de Leon bagged a Special Acting Citation from the All Lights India International Film Festival in 2016 for the film '1st Sem.' She was also hailed as the Best Supporting Actress for the same movie at the 50th Houston Worldfest International Film Festival.
Iza Calzado
The film 'Bliss' faced controversy after being initially rated X by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board but was eventually reduced to an R-18. Despite this, lead actress Iza Calzado was awarded the Yakushi Pearl Award for Best Performer at the 12th Osaka Asian Film Festival for her performance in the psychological thriller film.
