Proud parents Normita Magnayon-Gray and Ian Gray, mother and father of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray expressed their heartfelt message for the recent feat of their newly-crowned beauty queen daughter.
Former GMA reporter Marvin Tomandao caught up with Catriona's parents a few minutes after the latter was declared as Miss Universe.
Mr. and Mrs. Gray claimed that they have believed that their daughter will bring home the crown even from the beginning of the competition. Needless to say, they gave their “undying” support.
“Oh, fantastic. She was the chosen one,” Mr. Gray exclaimed.
Mr. and Mrs. Gray also expressed their message to their daughter.
“Catriona, you did this. This is you. You've worked hard for this. Congratulations,” Mrs. Gray said.
Meanwhile Mr. Gray only had the best three words to say, “I love you.”
