Text by Jason John S. Lim. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio. When you’re a teenager, what are the first thing you do when you’re abroad? Kris Bernal says you take pictures—for remembrance’s sake. So her number one must-have when traveling abroad: a camera! Kris points out that it’s the most important thing to bring. Whether the pictures are be for bragging rights, or just to revisit the out-of-the-country vacation, Kris says that “minsan ka lang makapunta doon, so take advantage mo na ‘yung magagandang view, ‘yung magagandang places.” Another must-have is a tour guide—especially for places where their language is not your first, second or third. stars“Sa Bangkok!” Kris exclaims. The young actress says that it was one of the times her family employed the services of a tour guide. Kris says she’s been to Singapore and parts of the United States, plus Bangkok, Thailand. Another must-have she lists down is money. Traveling with Kris The StarStruck alumnus reveals that she’s very particular with her things, thus she must be the one to prepare her things before leaving. “May listahan pa nga ako!” When she goes abroad, Kris never forgets those she left behind. So one of the important things in her travel agenda is to find souvenirs for friends! But she adds that she only brings how souvenirs for the special friends. Kris also reveals that her most unforgettable trip out of the country was going to Las Vegas, in the U.S. “Favorite ko Las Vegas.” She explains that she’s always seen the place in movies, with the bunny girls dancing and all the lights adorning the places, “tapos nung nakita ko. Travel with your favorite stars through Fanatxt!
