LOOK: Arnel Ignacio justifies appointment in government post with proof

Arnel showed proof that justifies his appointment to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Arnel was appointed as Deputy Executive Director V at the attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment on January 23. His new government position, however, drew flak among netizens as they question his credibility.

As a response, the comedian-singer shared a photo of his Artist Record Book back when he was still an overseas performing artist.

He then wrote, “Siguro kahit paano maiintindihan ninyo mga OFWs kung bakit kayo nasa puso ko at kung bakit nilagay ako ni presidente sa OWWA.”

He also addressed his detractors and bashers, saying, “At  doon sa nagdududa bakit ako ginawang Deputy Admin ng OWWA e 'wag ninyo na ako awayin. Nakakapagod lang 'yan. Dami pa nating gagawin.”
