Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2017 Teresita Ssen “Wyn” Marquez is already on her way to participate in the South American beauty pageant which will be held in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on November 4.
 
The Kapuso star is accompanied by her brother Yeoj and Tita Aileen, but not by her boyfriend Mark Herras. The actor was at the airport earlier to wish his girlfriend well.

Wyn explained why she didn’t want her boyfriend to come with her, “Unang-una, mahal ang pamasahe. It’s not because of the budget, it’s just that, I don’t want him to spend that much.”
 
The actress-turned-beauty queen also wants to focus on bringing home the crown as she is the first-ever Filipina and the only Asian in the competition.
 
“Mawawala din ang focus ko eh kung alam kong nandoon siya. Iisipin ko kung ano’ng ginagawa niya [at] kung kumain na ba siya so okay lang na hindi siya pumunta. I think he also has a show,” she added.
 
Mark has been there for her as a supportive boyfriend. 

“He’s always with me so he’s trying to spend time with me. Positive lang talaga lahat. Nilalambing niya ako kasi minsan nase-stress na ako so kailangan ko iyon TLC (tender loving care).”
