Last Sunday, Paolo Contis sat down with Showbiz Central’s Central Jury to talk about the women in his life -- starting with... The girls of his past Paolo was asked if it was true that all his previous relationships were hard to handle, a question that made the young actor laugh out loud. “What’s wrong with me?” Paolo asked with a chuckle before clarifying what had happened to his previous relationships. According to the former child star, his relationship with singer Carol Banawa ended with mutual consent because they were too young. And he admitted that it was him who broke it off with Carol. As for his relationship with Desiree del Valle, he revealed that their break up was caused by the actress moving to the United States, and it has nothing to do with the fact that Desiree entered a lesbian relationship soon afterwards. “Kung ano ‘yung nangyari sa States, wala na ako doon.” And regarding the rumors that he was a battered boyfriend while he was with Nancy Castiliogne, Paolo answered that he was never a battered boyfriend. In fact, none of his relationships had been particularly hard to handle. “To some extent, siyempre may mga times na hard sila to handle.” Isabel Oli Breaking the trend, Paolo became involved with the quiet and religious Isabel Oli. And after news of Paolo Contis buying a house spread, so had the news of Paolo living in with Isabel spread as well. “Hindi totoo ‘yun,” Paolo quickly made plain. He explained that being Christians, the two of them would never live in together before marriage. “Siguro umangat lang ‘yung ganoong chismis nung nabalitaan nilang nagpapagawa ako ng bagong bahay. “Tsaka si Isabel, she lives with her family dito sa Manila.” Asked if the house will still play a part once the two of them tie the knot, Paolo says, “Of course. Pag ikasal man kami baling araw.” Of course, Paolo also cleared that there hasn’t been any proposals happening yet. And the rumors that he gave Isabel an expensive ring is also false -- especially the part where the rumor states that the ring used to belong to his ex-girlfriend, Nancy. “I will not do that to Isabel,” Paolo added that the ring he gave Nancy was thrown somewhere and he doesn’t know where it is now. The girl in question Paolo also clarified that the rumors linking him to Katrina Halili are, in fact, just rumors. He was made privy to the rumor by Central Jury mainstays Rufa Mae Quinto and DJ Mo Twister during his interview with the two. Paolo learned that according to the rumor, he and Katrina went all the way inside the latter’s car during one of their engagements for the telefantasya Atlantika. Paolo revealed that Isabel and Katrina are good friends, and he would never do something to hurt the two. He even added as a joke that he wouldn’t get in Katrina’s car because he had a car of his own! A lot of them, in fact! Do you think Isabel will the one for Paolo?
