WATCH: Pia Wurtzbach reacts to Oscars Best Picture mix-up
The Oscars had its Miss Universe 2015 moment today, and Pia Wurtzbach could not resist but react.
The movie La La Land was mistakenly announced as the Best Picture winner. When its producers began their acceptance speech, they were interrupted to correct the mix-up, and the award was given to Moonlight.
This awkward scene at the awarding ceremony reminded people about Steve Harvey’s erroneous announcement during the Miss Universe 2015 coronation night. Pia Wurtzbach, who also found herself in the middle of that fiasco, pulled a joke about it by sharing an excerpt from her ad.
She said in the video she shared, “And if it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody.”

Meanwhile, the Miss Universe organization also made light of the moment and advised the Oscars, “Have your people call our people – we know what to do.”
