Louise delos Reyes reveals the most hurtful comment a netizen sent her
“They keep on creating stories… They want me dead. Hindi raw talaga ako artista, that I was never a star and never [will be] So parang those were really hurtful words for me." - Louise Delos Reyes
Kapuso actress Louise delos Reyes admitted that she has received so many messages from bashers that she can’t put a number to it anymore.
“I can’t actually count or be specific but they [would write] ’If I see you, I will kill you.’ Tapos parang ‘Sana hindi ka na lang pinanganak. Isa kang pagkakamali ng magulang mo,’” she shared.

One thing that Louise has learned about showbiz is that anyone could say anything about her even if they’ve never met her or interacted with her themselves.
“They keep on creating stories… They want me dead. Hindi raw talaga ako artista, that I was never a star and never [will be] So parang those were really hurtful words for me,” she revealed.
Though she keeps a strong front, she admitted that it’s not the easiest of tasks moving on from what bashers say.
“Hundi porket artista, manhid na. Hindi porket artista, wala nang nararamdaman. Hindi porket artista, dapat perfect ka. So [I hope] they understand that we have feelings also. We get hurt. Hindi man siya visible pero deep inside, masakit talaga siya,” she added.
On the contrary, Louise gets inspired by netizens who constantly boost her confidence and leave words of encouragement for her. Sometimes, they even defend her from those leaving negative comments.
“Madami rin sila and I’m very surprised na [they defend me from] bashers… It feels so good kasi 'yun pala 'yung nararamdaman ng mga tao sa ‘kin… Wala naman kaming connection pero sobra nila ‘kong protektahan and [that] they care [about me],” she said.
Because of her online experiences, the Magkaibang Mundo star finds it fitting that she’s a participant in Bloggers’ Style Camp 2016 themed Heart Over Hate. She rejects cyberbullying and hopes to be able to spread positivity through her online influence.
“At the end of it all, you should always think before you click. Nabubura mo man [ang isang post] sa feed mo, nabubura mo man 'yung mga comments o na-ba-block mo man 'yung mga tao, 'yung fact na nakita nila 'yung sinabi mo, 'yun 'yung [mag-se-stay] sa kanila,” she ended.
