The flourishing career of content creator and social media star Esnyr
Social media star Esnyr is one of the most beloved housemates on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.
He started as a content creator who created short skits about the daily lives of students in school.
"Nag-start po ako noong pandemic. May app po kasi na parang magso-scroll ng mga reels, mga videos. Noong gumawa po ako ng mga skit ng about classroom, 'yung background ko wala pang green screen, 'yung puting background po lang po sa kwarto namin that time. Ginagawa kong wig po is 'yung mga ginamit ko na na mga damit," he recalled.
Catapulted by his popularity on social media, Esnyr was able to crossover with the mainstream media.

Viral
Content creator Esnyr went viral for his relatable classroom skits. "May nag-chat sa group chat namin dati, sa section po namin noong pandemic. Na-miss na daw nila makipag-awayan sa ibang section kaya sabi ko gawan ko na lang kaya 'to ng content--'yung mga eksena po na kaaway mo 'yung kabilang section. Day by day, sa nine days po na 'yun is nag-a-upgrade, nag-a-upgrade, nag-a-upgrade po ako. 'Pag dagdag ko noong naka panyo, biglang nagustuhan ng mga tao. Then gulat na lang po ako na everyday, 1.7 million likes na siya, 1.8 million likes na siya. Noong nakuha ko na 'yung momentum na mga tao gusto pala nila 'tong mga content na ganito, naisipan ko na i-go ko na talaga, na karirin ko na talaga 'tong pagiging school content creator ko po. Doon na po ako nagsimulang bumuo ng iba't ibang classmate," he says.
Change
His viral fame changed his life. "Sobrang laki po ang natitulong niya sa buhay ko--financial, career. Grabe, binago niya 'yung buhay ko at binago niya po 'yung buhay ng pamilya ko," he shares.
Careers
Starring in Esnyr's viral classroom series boosted the careers of Brent Manalo and Shan Vesagas who he considers good friends. Esnyr and Brent are both currently in the PBB house, while Shan has gone on record to say that he credits Esnyr for his career.
Family
Even with fame and money, Esnyr faced challenges with his family. He recalled the time when he needed to come up with a huge sum of money in order for his father to avoid getting jailed. "Sobrang busy ko that time na nagme-message sila Papa sa akin, ''Asan na 'yung pera?' 'Tapos, hindi ako nakapag-reply, doon ko natanggap 'yung unang message ng Papa ko sa akin na, 'Grabe ka magpasarap diyan sa buhay mo diyan, kaya mong makita mo 'yung parents mo na naghihirap. Pero sige lang, gusto ko malaman mo na mabubuhay kami kahit wala ka.' Sobrang sakit sa akin noon kasi ginawa ko 'to para sa kanila," he says.
Student
Before becoming a full-time content creator, Esnyr studied petroleum engineering at Palawan State University.
Film debut
He made his film debut in the 2021 film Love Is Color Blind which starred popular love team Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
Movies
Esnyr also became part of several movies like Regal Entertainment's Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme and GMA Pictures' Balota.
