Gardo Versoza hopes team-up with Jaclyn Jose will achieve 'Freddie-Nova' humor
The actor also expressed excitement about the evening show’s sexy comedy theme, a genre that hasn’t been thoroughly explored yet.

Gardo Versoza is looking forward to working on new show A1 Ko Sa‘yo with good friend and respected artist Jaclyn Jose. He noted how they’ve known each other for a while now and how much he treasures their relationship both on cam and off cam.
“Alam ko naman na talagang magaling na siya [na aktres]. Wala na ‘kong duda ‘dun. Pero ang mas nakakahanga kasi, mula noon hanggang ngayon, hindi nagbago yung pagtitinginan namin. Kumbaga, malungkot man o masaya, nandyan kami para sa isa’t-isa,” he said.
The actor only had good words for the 2016 Cannes Fim Festival Best Actress.
“As a friend, straightforward siya eh. As a co-worker, very professional siya sa craft niya so never kaming nagka-problema… [Also, we’re very honest towards each other kaya] mas madali naming i-handle yung situations [that we face together]," he added.
Gardo also expressed excitement about the evening show’s sexy comedy theme, a genre that hasn’t been thoroughly explored yet.
“[Exciting ‘to] dahil iba 'yung treatment eh… Ang nakikita ko, para kaming Freddie Webb-Nova Villa. Ganun 'yung na-i-imagine ko, so sana [kung] hindi man malagpasan, mapantayan man lang,” he declared.
The two are set to play husband and wife in the Thursday evening program of GMA Network.
