Action star and ladies’ man Roi Vinzon is set to play a character completely far from what was seen of him in My Husband’s Lover. If he was retired army general and womanizer Armando then, he’s now going to portray Primo who seems to be on the fence about his gender.
“Ang ganda nung twist ‘no? North and south. Opposites. Huwag lang dibdibin [ng mga tao] ang roles ko dahil minsan nakakabaliw,” he said.
He admits that Primo is unlike any character he has played before, and comedy isn’t something he’s fully ventured in.
“I love the story, saka 'yung role ko. Exciting kasi [sitcoms] 'yung hindi ko nalalabasan pa eh,” he added.
In any case, he hopes that Primo will be received well as his previous roles, if not more warmly.
“The fans will [hopefully love Primo]. Lalo na 'yung mga action fans ko, they know me as a killer minsan. [Sana] they will accept me as I am [and enjoy the character they’ll see me in],” he concluded.
