SHINee's Minho talks about goals, solo career, and Filipino fans
On Sunday, March 16, SHINee's Minho marked a special point in his career when he officially concluded his first concert “MEAN: Of My First” at the New Frontier Theater, Philippines.
He electrified the stage with his performances of “Because of You,” “Heartbreak,” “CALL BACK,” “Choice,” and many more.
Minho also showcased SHINee's songs “View” and “Body Rhythm.”
Before the concert, Minho also shared an exclusive media conference with the Philippine media and fans from 60 royalty and 40 VIP ticket holders.
The K-pop idol shared the story behind his first solo tour “MEAN: Of My First.” He also talked about his goals, solo career, and Filipino fans.

Fireworks
While inside the plane on the way to the Philippines, Minho shared he saw a fireworks display and he felt like the country was welcoming him through that show.
Kilig
At the mediacon, Minho learned about the Filipino word “kilig.” He also shared the last time he felt kilig and said he always feels it when he's onstage while hearing the support of Shawols.
MEAN: Of My First
Minho also talked about the story behind his 'MEAN: Of My First' tour. He revealed that he really loves the word “first” because it holds a deep meaning. It also signifies first moments and experiences, like his first tour, 'MEAN: Of My First,' and he wants to keep it in his heart.
Philippines
The K-pop star looked back on his last visit to the Philippines and said he remembered the love he received from Filipino fans. According to Minho, this pushed him to prepare a good closing show for 'MEAN: Of My First.'
Solo
When it comes to the challenges and learnings he got throughout his tour 'MEAN: Of My First,' Minho said he understood his strengths and weaknesses. These helped him prepare better for his shows.
You're Right
Minho also talked about his tour setlist and pointed out his unreleased track “You're Right.” He explained that the song holds meaning and messages that he wanted to tell to Shawols.
SHINee
When asked about his group, SHINee, Minho told Filipino fans and the press that there is no difference between “SHINee's Minho” and “soloist Minho” because he always gives his all at every performance. However, he noted that his solo works give him the platform to work on a music style that he likes and is very good at.
Favorite
According to Minho, he likes the Philippine heat as someone who as not fond of cold weather. Minho also shared that his favorite thing about the country is the cheers of Filipino Shawols.
