Chito Miranda on Neri Naig's arrest: 'Never nanloko si Neri, never siya nanlamang sa kapwa'
Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda has spoken up about his wife Neri Naig's arrest by Pasay City police.
On Wednesday night, Chito wrote a lengthy note regarding allegations against his wife, and emphasized her innocence.
Chito wrote, "Praying na ma-sort out na ang lahat ng ito...kawawa naman yung asawa ko🙏🏼❤️
"Never nanloko si Neri, at never sya nanlamang sa kapwa.
"Never siyang kumuha or nanghingi ng pera kahit kanino man.
"Alam ng lahat yan. Tulong lang sya ng tulong hangga't kaya nya.
"Minsan kahit di na nakakabuti sa kanya.
"Kadalasan nga, naaabuso na sya pero hinahayaan nya nalang, basta wala syang ginawang masama.
"Pinapa sa Diyos nya na lang.
"Tulad ngayon, endorser lang sya tapos ginamit yung face nya to get investors.
"Kinasuhan sya ng mga nabiktima.
"Tapos last week, bigla na lang syang inaresto for the same case kahit hindi pa sya binigyan ng notice na may bagong criminal complaint pala laban sa kanya, and di nya na-defend yung sarili nya.
"Wala syang nareceive na letter from the prosecutor, walang subpoena, walang kahit anong notice.
"Yung mga dati, nareceive namin nya, at nag comply sya, (alam naman ng lahat na madali kami mahanap sa Alfonso)
"Anyway, dinampot na lang sya bigla.
He added, "(Nadismiss na yung mga similar na kaso sa ibang lugar, and we're praying na sana ma-dismiss na din ito.)
"Wala siyang kinuhang pera sa ibang tao, lahat ng pera nila na kay Chanda, ang may ari ng Dermacare.
"Sobrang bait po ni Neri...as in sooobra.
He ended his post with a plead for his wife. "Eto yung babaeng kinulong ninyo without bail, habang nakalaya pa yung mga tunay na may kasalanan."
Chito's post also included a letter from Chanda Atienza, supposedly connected to Dermacare.
In Chanda's letter to Neri, she apologized to Neri for "issues that Dermacare is going through right now."
Chanda also mentioned Neri is "not supposedly to be part of" Dermacare's issues.
On Fast Talk with Boy Abunda's Wednesday episode, host Boy Abunda confirmed Neri had been arrested by police in Pasay City on November 23.
He said, "Ayon sa Southern Police District, may warrant of arrest si Neri dahil sa kasong syndicated estafa at 14 counts of violation sa section 28 ng Securities Regulation Code. Nakasaad sa section 28 na ipinagbabawal ang pagbebenta at pamimili ng investments securities. Ito 'yung mga stocks, bonds, interests, nang walang kaukulang registration mula sa SEC, Securities and Exchange Commision.”

Around 6:00 p.m. on December 4, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) released Neri Naig following the order of Pasay RTC.
"The BJMP received the court order issued today by RTC (Regional Trial Court Branch) 112 ordering the release of Nerizza Miranda," said BJMP spokesperson Jail Supt. Jayrex Bustinera.

Neri's Gourmet Tuyo
One of Neri's first businesses is her gourmet tuyo, Neri's Gourmet Tuyo, which she introduced a couple of years ago.
Resellers
In one of her Instagram posts, Neri briefly shared how she started her gourmet tuyo business with a capital of P3,000. Since then, the business has grown and has seen a number of resellers and distributors nationwide. "Nagsimula ako sa mga bazaar tapos ganito palang kaliit ang gourmet tuyo ko. Nakakatuwa ang journey ng aking tuyuan. Dahil sa sipag at tyaga, nakapag invest na rin ako. Lahat yan ay nagsimula sa pagtutuyo ko. I am forever grateful,” she recounted.
Very Neri Beddings and Sleepwear
Neri has also delved into beddings and sleepwear with her brand, Very Neri.
Jaytee's Filipino Cuisine
Neri and Chito also co-own branches of the famous Jaytee's Filipino Cuisine in Tagaytay. “Dahil ang lakas ng Jaytee's, naisipan naming mag asawa na magtayo ng sariling branch ng Jaytee's!" Neri said in her post on July 2022.
Jeju Samgyupsal
Neri owns a Korean barbecue restaurant in Cebu, with her business partners, named Jeju Samgyupsal. Chito also co-owns one branch of the restaurant in the area.
Extraordineri Salon
In September 2022, Neri shared how she came to own a beauty salon after she acquired one that was about to close down.
"Nagpapasalon lang ako last December at kinausap ako ng staff na mawawalan na raw sila ng trabaho kase magsasara na ang salon na 'to. Baka kung pwede raw ako nang sumalo ng salon para di sila mawalan ng work. Ayun, nag-haggle talaga ako. At nagkasundo sa deal na kaya ko lang ilabas,” she narrated.
Neri's Cottage
Neri's Cottage in Alfonso, Cavite is one of the first of Neri's properties that she listed for rent. In an Instagram post in 2021, Neri shared how the property strengthened her resolve to pursue things she likes.
"D'yan nagsimula ang pagiging malakas ang loob ko. Kapag may gusto akong gawin, sinusubukan ko talaga. Paano ko malalaman kung para sa akin kung hindi ko susubukan?” she said.
Miranda's Beach Condo
In December 2021, Neri shared the news of their new investment, this time in the form of a condo unit on a beach in Batangas.
Baguio Rest House
One of Neri's latest properties for rent is their rest house in Baguio called the Hillside House.
"For 24 years, nangungupahan lang kami. Walang masasabing ancestral house kahit maliit, kahit nasa probinsya. Kaya palagi akong nagsusumikap, kasama ng asawa ko, na makapag ipon para makabili ng mga bahay para sa mga anak namin,” Neri said in her previous post.
