Rocco Nacino meets Korean stars at the Busan International Film Festival
Actor Rocco Nacino graced the Busan International Film Festival 2024 to represent the Philippines and the film Motherland, where he takes the lead role of Tom Dao-ayen, who hails from an Ifugao tribe in Northern Luzon. Motherland shows the harrowing events that took place during the 2015 Mamasapano incident that left 44 SAF members dead.
During the BIFF 2024, Rocco got to meet Korean stars including Song Joong-ki, Park Seo-joon, Ji Chang-wook, and Im Siwan. The Kapuso actor was in awe of their star quality and warmth.

Song Joong-ki
Rocco Nacino got to meet Korean actor Song Joong-ki who starred in the K-drama Descendants of the Sun.
Rocco starred in the Philippine adaptation of the drama, which aired in 2020. The Kapuso actor said in an Instagram post, "Met Big Boss himself #SongJongKi and told him about #DOTSPH. Pinakita ko rin ang posters namin ni @dongdantes @mercadojenny @jascurtissmith at natuwa siya, which led to a long 5 minute chat about DOTS and the PH. Invite ko daw siya sa pinas paano ko naman gagawin yun haha I'd have to say, he is the most warm and accommodating actor of all the actors I talked with. Kind person. Deserve niya blessings niya."
Park Seo-joon and Im siwan
Rocco captioned his post, "Day 3 at the #BusanInternationalFilmFestival. Marie Claire Awards night I got to meet and chat with Park Seo-Joon and Yim Siwan, both awardees for that night. PSJ was fresh from his visit from the PH and kept saying, "take me back there!" Thank you gents for praising the Philippines."

Rocco shared his moment with actors Ji Chang-wook, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Jung Jin-young. "They were all very kind and all started our conversation with a compliment for my @francislibiran8 Barong. Ano daw tawag sa suot ko at paano daw ginawa. Hehe Siyempre binida ko ang paggawa ng barong ng Pinas."
