Aira Villegas has won a bronze medal in the boxing women's 50kg at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
She has officially claimed a bronze medal after her competition with Turkish boxer Buse Naz Cakiroglu during the semifinals of the women's 50kg boxing event of the 2024 Paris Olympics on Wednesday.
This marks the Philippines' third medal in the ongoing Olympic games, following world champion Carlos Yulo's double gold medal in men's gymnastics.
