Mamamoo's Solar sings 'Pantropiko' in recent MNL concert
P-pop fever is on and has reached the global music sphere after Solar from K-pop girl group Mamamoo performed her cover of BINI's hit summer song, “Pantropiko,” in her Colours in Manila tour last Sunday, June 16, at The Theater at Solaire.
“There is a song that I prepared. I expected you guys to know this song,” Solar said, which sent Filipino Yongsoons into a high range of excitement.
As expected, Solar's cute performance of “Pantropiko” received lots of screams from fans and some even noted her fluency in singing Tagalog songs.
Some fans even expounded Solar's thoughtfulness of every country she visits and said that this had been a culture from her group, Mamamoo, that eventually instilled in her.
“Alam niyo kung bakit maayos pagbigkas at pagkanta ni [S]olar sa '[P]antropiko?' Ganyan kasi ang [M]amamoo since predebut pa, always making sure they're giving it all to their fans [because] they love to perform while having fun on stage. Walang kulang, laging sobra!” a Filipino Yongsoon wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Due to the popular demand of fans and continuous chants of “BINI! Solar! BINI! Solar!” The K-pop idol sang the hit summer song again.
While her first performance was already special, Solar made it even better when she grabbed a pride flag from one of the fans in the front row and wore it on her back throughout the entire song.
