Filipina beauty queen Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach mourns the death of one of her closest friends.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram yesterday (January 3), Pia expresses her sadness over the death of celebrity fashion stylist and theater actor Gello Conferido.
"I will miss you.. We love you, @gelloconferido. I love you! Rest now, you're with Him. I'm just so sad I won't get to see you when I come home."
She also revealed that it was her and Gello’s dream for her to become Miss Universe.
"This was our dream. Why, I keep asking myself why. But you were so strong and we should be strong too. Hay nako. Basta. Mahal ka namin. Maraming nagmamahal sayo."
