Kapuso celebrities Maine Mendoza and Jennylyn Mercado emerged victorious in the recently concluded 41st Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 Awards Night held last night at the Kia Theater, Araneta Center in Quezon City.

'Kalye-serye' superstar Maine Mendoza bagged her first acting trophy when she won the Best Festival Supporting Actress for her role in the movie 'My Bebe Love.'
 


Maine's kilig-movie starring Alden Richards, Vic Sotto, and Aiai delas Alas broke box office records, after posting a gross earning on opening day amounting to P60.4 million.

Kapuso leading lady Jennylyn Mercado won for the second year in a row in the MMFF, when she won the Best Festival Actress recognition for her film 'Walang Forever.' In 2014, she bagged the same award for her romantic-comedy movie "English Only, Please."

The StarStruck alum was also hailed as the Female Celebrity of the Night.
 

 


Meanwhile, current top grosser 'My Bebe Love' bagged two major awards, it was chosen as the Festival '3rd Best Picture' and took home the Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award.
