Vice Ganda beyond grateful as 'It's Showtime' signs contract with GMA

March 20, 2024 is truly a historic moment for Philippine television as GMA Network and ABS-CBN joined hands to air the noontime variety show It's Showtime on GMA.

Executives from both broadcast giants, as well as the hosts of It's Showtime, were present at the momentous contract signing ceremony held on Wednesday.

The Unkabogable star Vice Ganda wrapped up the event with a heartfelt message of gratitude to GMA and its executives.

Vice thanked GMA for their warm and sincere welcome. He also expressed how much the network has helped and supported them.

“'Di naman lingid sa kaalaman nating lahat kung gaano kasadsad ang isinadsad ng Kapamilya pero naririyan kayo, hindi para tapakan kami at saktan pa sa mga panahong sadsad na sadsad kami. Inialay niyo ang mga kamay niyo sa amin para unti-unti kaming makabangon,” he said.

Vice also described the collaboration as having “a very strong, massive, [and] transformative purpose.”

“At dahil sa pagsasama niyong dalawa, mas magiging madali iyon na makapagbigay tayo ng karagdagang tawa sa kanila, karagdagang saya, karagdagang impormasyon, karagdagang inspirasyon at pag-asa,” he added.

Vice concluded his heartwarming speech with, “Kaya maraming-marami salamat po sa pagpili sa amin… Halika na, magsanib pwersa na tayo para mapanalunan at mapagtagumpayan ang mas malalaking hamon.”

It's Showtime will air on GMA starting April 6, every Monday to Saturday, from 12 noon to 2:30 PM.
