Pinoy rapper Gloc-9 is among the personalities who are one with the efforts of the #NowPH campaign in mitigating the bad effects of climate change. He claims that his support for the said movement is not just for the present, but more so for the future generation.

“Ang Pilipinas, kahit na hindi ganoon kadali ang buhay natin dito, ay mako-consider ko na isa sa pinakamasayang bayan na pwedeng mong tirahan,” he began.
 
However, he worries that his children and other children might not be able to enjoy the same state of the environment as it is today.
 
“Natatakot ako para sa mga anak ko,” Gloc-9 said.
 
“[Kung] hindi natin ito (kalikasan) aalagaan, maaapektuhan tayong lahat. Maaapektuhan ang ating mga anak at ang mga anak ng anak natin,” he continued.
 
When asked about what he dreams for the younger generation, the award-winning artist shared, “Na ma-experience ng isang bata ang makapaglaro sa mga palayan and makita nila ‘yung mga halaman na tumutubo, at makaligo sa ilog o batis na hindi polluted.”  
 
Nonetheless, he also believes that it is not yet too late to do our contribution.

Gloc-9 claimed, “Laging magsisimula ‘yan sa sarili mo.” And thus, he pledged to promote renewable energy as part of his contribution to the #NowPH campaign.
