Herlene Budol is officially a Sparkle artist!
Herlene Budol is the newest addition to Sparkle GMA Artist Center's roster of talents!
The actress and comedienne inked a contract with the GMA Network's talent management arm on Tuesday, March 5.
Present during the event were GMA Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo, and Sparkle Senior Talent Manager Jan Navarro.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Herlene is filled with happiness now that she's officially a part of the Sparkle family.
“Nakaka-speechless talaga ho kasi parang may pangalawang tahanan na ako,” she said.
The 24-year-old star added, "Sobrang excited ako at sobrang saya ko."
Herlene has appeared in several Kapuso shows such as Stories From The Heart: Never Say Goodbye, Magpakailanman, Madrasta, Daddy's Gurl, and False Positive.
She played the lead role of Gigi in the GMA Afternoon Prime teledrama Magandang Dilag. Herlene is also a part of the full-action series Black Rider and the action-comedy TV show Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis Season 2.

According to Herlene Budol, her most memorable Kapuso TV project to date was the GMA Afternoon Prime series, Magandang Dilag, where she played the lead role as Gigi.

Herlene Budol also gave a message for her Sparkle family and to GMA Network.
“Hindi [ako] mangangako ho ng masaya, [pero] pag-iigihan ko po,siyempre, para rin po sa akin, sa pamilya ko, at para po sa inyo. Hindi ko rin po kayo ipapahiya sa lahat ng bagay. 'Yung eagerness ko po sa pagiging artista, mas pag-iigihan ko pa. I love you, Sparkle. I love you, GMA,” she said.
