HORI7ON announces comeback with new single 'DAYTOUR' and showcase in Manila
ANCHORs can anticipate new music from all-Filipino global pop group HORI7ON as their agency MLD Entertainment announced that they will be making a return this March.
HORI7ON is coming back with a new single "DAYTOUR," which is set to be released on March 2 at noon.
"DAYTOUR" is described as a refreshing hi-teen confession song that expresses the hearts of seven members towards their loved ones.
On the same day as the release of "DAYTOUR," HORI7ON will hold a showcase in Manila. The group is also preparing mall tours in the Philippines, with special performances and gifts for fans.
HORI7ON's last comeback was in July 2023 with the release of their first full-length studio album, Friend-SHIP, featuring the lead single "SIX7EEN."
In September 2023, the global pop group had their first concert in Manila, "Friend-SHIP [Voyage to Manila]," with electrifying performances of their tracks from Friend-SHIP and other K-pop dance songs.

HORI7ON
All-Filipino global pop group HORI7ON was formed from a Philippines-Korea collaborative survival audition program Dream Maker, which concluded in February 2023. Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus were the final seven out of 62 contestants on the reality show who competed to be part of the group.
Group name
The name of the group, HORI7ON was suggested by Dream Maker viewers and refers to "the dreams of seven boys, who started on the same line, gathered in one place, and face the same goal."
Promotional activities
Prior to their departure to South Korea on April 30 to be trained as a global pop group, HORI7ON engaged in promotional activities including performing on variety shows, a mall show tour, and a fan meeting event at the New Frontier Theater.
MLD Entertainment
HORI7ON trained in South Korea under MLD Entertainment. During their press conference on September 7, Marcus shared their journey in South Korea, "This was like a very hard time for all seven of us. Training in general is really hard especially when we got there because we had so many things to adjust to and it was during, like, preparations for 'SIX7EEN' and it was really hard like the point where we would practice five seconds worth of SIX7EEN for like two to three hours, that's how perfect they wanted it to be. Every day our training is hard and is only because of the ANCHORs that we got to manage and we got to move forward, so thank you guys!"
Pre-debut
In preparation for their debut, HORI7ON released pre-debut singles "Dash" on March 22, "Salamat" on April 5 and "Lovey Dovey" on May 31, which are included in their first full-length studio album, Friend-SHIP.
Friend-SHIP
HORI7ON made their debut on July 24, 2023, with the release of their 21-track studio album, Friend-SHIP, featuring the lead single "SIX7EEN."
Top iTunes chart
HORI7ON's Friend-SHIP topped the iTunes chart in the Philippines, as well as New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates during its release on July 24. The following day, it also ranked first in Spain, Qatar, and Poland.
Promotion
In South Korea, HORI7ON kicked off their promotional activities for Friend-SHIP with a performance of their album's lead single "SIX7EEN" on Mnet's M Countdown. On the day of the album's release, the group held a media and fan showcase at the Olympic Hall, Seoul Olympic Park.

The music video for "SIX7EEN," which was released on July 24, has now over 6.4 million views on MLD Entertainment's YouTube channel.
First concert in Manila
On September 9, HORI7ON reunited with their Filo ANCHORs at their first-ever concert titled "HORI7ON 1ST CONCERT: Friend-SHIP [Voyage To Manila]," where they performed their tracks from Friend-SHIP and a number of K-pop dance tracks. The group also treated their fans with solo performances including Winton's "Teum," Marcus' "Light Way," Jeromy's "Bonnie & Clyde," Vinci's "Ready to Burn," Kim's "Like a Fiction," Kyler's "Silhouette," and Reyster's "Cost."
