Eat Bulaga! has made history with the phenomenal success of the love team between Alden Richards and Yaya Dub, known as Maine Mendoza in real life.
They filled the Philippine Arena, the largest indoor arena in the world, which sits 55,000 people. Tickets to the much awaited ‘Tamang Panahon’ were sold out less than two days after the event announcement and over 23 million tweets were recorded for the event.
Kapuso heartthrob and leading man Alden Richards was overwhelmed with gratitude for their many fans who made the feat possible.
“Mula sa amin ni Maine, maraming maraming maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat ALDUBnation!!! God bless you all at mahal na mahal po naming kayong lahat!!! Tuloy ang FOREVER mga ALDUBarkads!!!” he wrote on his Instagram a few hours after the event.
