“Sobrang close kasi namin eh,” Andrea Torres revealed of her relationship with longtime love team partner Mikael Daez.
Through With A Smile and Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, they’ve impressed and touched their audiences with their undeniable chemistry. Now, they venture on Blood In Dispute, a bigger project involving Khmer cast and a Canadian director.
Andrea Torres is happy to be taking on this challenge with Mikael whom he values and trusts. She loves how they have a good relationship both personally and professionally.
“Kahit na pahinga kami from soap, nandun pa rin 'yung communication namin. Saka open kami. Parang puwede niya kong punahin kung meron siyang hindi nagustuhan sa ginawa ko tapos puwede ko rin gawin 'yun sa kanya,” she said.
Like in all good relationships, Andrea said that they inspire and help each other to do better. “Nagbibigay siya ng suggestions sa ‘kin. Ganun din ako sa kanya so feel ko [we’re great together] dahil sa team work,” she added.
The Kapuso actress couldn’t ask for a better dynamic with a love team. With Mikael, she doesn’t have to try too hard.
“Walang pilit [sa closeness namin] so feeling ko mas madali siyang i-sustain, at sobrang [kumportable lang talaga] namin sa isa’t-isa,” she declared.
