Derrick Monasterio did not hold back when it came to achieving his goals in his showbiz career in 2021.
The Kapuso actor showed how he worked hard in every project that was given to him. From 'Legal Wives,' 'Catch Me Out Philippines,' 'Regal Studio Presents: Karinderya Queens,' to releasing a song called 'Virgo,' Derrick showed that he could do whatever it took to thrive in the industry.
Derrick currently plays the lead role, Red Ramos, in the GMA Afternoon Prime series 'Return To Paradise' which also stars Sparkle artist Elle Villanueva and seasoned actress Eula Valdes.

'Catch Me Out Philippines'
In the game, reality, and talent show 'Catch Me Out Philippines', Derrick was chosen as one of the celebrity spotters.
'Legal Wives'
Derrick also joined the cast of 'Legal Wives' as Edgar delos Reyes. He portrayed the role of a childhood friend of Bianca Umali's character Farrah Valeandong.
Kapuso shows
The Kapuso hunk was also part of 'Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko', 'Wish Ko Lang, 'All-Out Sundays' and more.
'Regal Studio Presents: Karinderya Queens'
Derrick was one of the casts of 'Regal Studio Presents: Karinderya Queens'. The show includes Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina and Miss World Philippines 2019 2nd Princess Casie Banks.
Fitness
In 2021, Derrick also focused on weightlifting training. In one interview, Derrick revealed that he dreams of becoming a professional athlete.
“Hindi naman talaga ako nagpapa-sexy, eh. I work out because I want to get stronger… I want to become an Olympic athlete. I also want to join CrossFit Games in the United States.”
Underwear model
Derrick Monasterio was proud to be tapped by Bench as one of its endorsers for its underwear line in 2021. “It was nerve-wracking. But I was pleasantly surprised of the outcome. They made me comfortable and really took care of my shots.”
Return To Paradise
Derrick is one of the lead stars in the GMA Afternoon Prime series 'Return To Paradise,' which is also top-billed by Sparkle artist Elle Villanueva and seasoned actress Eula Valdes.
Milestone
Derrick bagged two recognitions at the 2nd Diamond Excellence Awards, namely, Outstanding TV Actor of the Year and Male Star of the Night.
