Liezl was confined since Monday according to her uncle, Cheng Muhlach. 
Actress Liezl Martinez has passed away this morning, March 14 at around 6:15 am due to stage 4 lung cancer. 

It was her uncle, Cheng Muhlach who confirmed this in a radio report.

Liezl was 47 and is survived by her husband Albert and their three children.
