In her exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com in October 2020, Rain shared how she came up with the concept of the POV of 'Conyo Girl.' She told the entertainment site then, "'Yung mommy ko, kausap ko siya one Sunday. Tapos sabi niya 'Rain, pogi 'yung artistang 'to oh. Feel ko dapat maging kayo.'
"Sabi ko, 'Sige, mommy practice ako na introduce ko 'yung sarili ko sa mommy niya para magustuhan niya ako. And then that same afternoon when I arrived home, ginawa ko siyang TikTok.”
