'Ismol Family' stars, where are they now?
Remember the weekend primetime sitcom Ismol Family? Directed by Dominic Zapata, the comedy program featured Carla Abellana and Ryan Agoncillo.
The fun cast also included Carmi Martin, Mikael Daez, Mike 'Pekto' Nacua, Kevin Santos, and former love team Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali. Carla Abellana
Kapuso primetime actress Carla Abellana played Majay Ismol in the sitcom 'Ismol Family' in 2014, the wife of Jingo portrayed by Ryan Agoncillo. In fact, she won the Best Comedy Actress on TV at the 2nd Alta Media Icon Awards of the University of Perpetual Help in 2016 for her role in 'Ismol Family.'
Carla now
Dubbed as the Kapuso Primetime Goddess, Carla Abellana renewed her ties with her home network GMA-7 in January 2024.
She will be part of the big primetime serye Widow's War with multi-awarded actress Bea Alonzo.
Carla is already divorced from her ex-husband Tom Rodriguez, after tying the knot in October 2021
Ryan now
Ryan Agoncillo is still showcasing his hosting chops as a mainstay in the longest-running noontime show 'Eat Bulaga.' He also juggles his time between his three kids with wife Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and their restaurants, Angry Dobo and Pizza Telefono
Bianca Umali
Bianca Umali played the sweet and pretty Yumi in 'Ismol Family', the child of Majay's brother Bobong.

Bianca blossomed into a sexy and confident woman after doing the sitcom. Bianca dropped her pa-tweetum image and portrayed serious lead characters in Kambal, Karibal (2018) and Sahaya (2019). In 2020, she bagged a major project via the HBO Asia Originals series 'Halfworlds.'
Bianca will soon be part of the lead actors in the highly-anticipated telefantasya series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre. Joining her as the newest breed of sang'gres are Faith da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian.
Meanwhile, with regard to her personal life, Bianca and her boyfriend, Ruru Madrid, will be mark their 6th anniversary in July 2024.
Miguel now
Miguel is reunited with Mikael Daez in 'Running Man Philippines' season two this 2024.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Mikael talked about working again with Miguel, “Actually, si Miguel nakasama ko 10 or nine years ago sa Ismol Family and ever since then, close kami nun, pero hindi na kami nagkita after nun. Ito 'yung next time na nagkita kami. Ayun, nakilala ko na siya and ang daming… catch up lang. Catch up lang ng bongga alam mo 'yun nine years later na catch up.”
Miguel's recent notable projects with GMA-7 include Voltes V: Legacy, What We Could Be, Sahaya, and Kambal Karibal.

Mikael and his girlfriend of nine years, Megan Young, surprised the public in January 2020, when they got married in Subic.
The Kapuso actor previously earned praise for his portrayal of Kristoff in the hit GMA Prime series 'Royal Blood.' Here, he got to work with his wife Megan, together with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Rhian Ramos, Lianne Valentin, Rabiya Mateo, and Tirso Cruz III.
For his next project, Mikael returns as a runner in the reality show, 'Running Man Philippines' season two, which will start airing in May 2024;
