He has had much buzz around him from the beginning as he is the first Jesuit to become pope, as well as the first who hails from Latin America.
Loved by many for his humility and simplicity, Pope Francis proved to be a popular figure of the Vatican and the Catholic Church.
But Francis: The Pope from the New World tells the story of Jorge Mario Bergoglio from his childhood and as he slowly climbed the ranks of the Catholic Church. It sheds light on a man's passion and extraordinary faith and his journey to the papacy.
Produced by the Knights of Columbus, Francis: The Pope from the New World has been translated into Filipino and narrated by Jessica Soho.
