Joey Bautista of '90s band Mulatto has passed away on March 19, 2020. According to news sources, they suspect that the singer has died from COVID-19.
Pita Revilla
Mother of brothers Bernard and the late Mico Palanca, Pita Revilla passed away at the age of 62 in San Francisco, California on March 19. The news was confirmed by family members and friends including Lynn Cruz, Tirso Cruz III's wife.
Mengie Cobarrubias
Veteran actor Domingo “Menggie” Cobarrubias succumbed to pneumonia complications on March 26, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Gina Cobarrubias who posted on Facebook, “Goodbye, my love. Thank you for the 30 wonderful years. I love you.”
Leila Benitez-McCollum
Legendary radio personality and 'Student Canteen' host Leila Benitez-McCollum passed away on April 9 due to COVID-19 complications. The news was confirmed by a family member to CNN Philippines who added, “She died peacefully at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan after testing positive of the virus.”
Babajie
Comedian Babajie, whose real name is Alfredo Cornejo, died from tuberculosis and malnutrition on May 4. The news was confirmed by Babajie's mother to GMA News who cited that Babajie has been ill for weeks.
Peque Gallaga
Veteran filmmaker Peque Gallaga passed away on May 7 after being hospitalized days before. The statement was confirmed by director Lore Reyes who cited the 'Ora, Plata, Mata' director was attended due to “complications arising from past health conditions.”
Sonny Parsons
On May 10, Hagibis lead singer Sonny Parsons passed away due to heart attack. According to several social media posts, he had a heart attack while riding a motorcycle in Batangas on his way to Quezon. He was only 61 years old.
Edgardo Ilarde
GMA Radio lost one of its family member after veteran radio host and former senator Eddie Ilarde passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 85. Aside from being a Super Radyo dzBB anchor, Kuya Eddie was a host in Student Canteen.
Ramon Revilla Sr.
Former senator and film actor Ramon Revilla Sr. died at the age of 93 on June 26, 2020. His son, Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., confirmed that the legendary action star died due to heart failure.
Kim Idol
The comedy bar industry mourn the death of standup comedian Kim Idol on July 13, 2020. Prior to his death, it was reported that Kim was in critical condition after a vein ruptured in his brain.
Alfredo Lim

On June 10, 2020, veteran actress Anita Linda passed away at 95 years old. The news was first announced by director Adolf Alix Jr. and was confirmed later on by her daughter Francesca Lake-Legaspi.
Madam Auring
Aurea Sabalboro, also known as Madam Auring, passed away on October 30, 2020. Her death was confirmed by her grandson Simon Pecson after paying tribute to the late fortune teller.
Madam Auring rose to fame when she correctly predicted Spanish-bet Amparo Muñoz will win the 1974 Miss Universe Title. During Muhammad Ali's visit to Manila, she also predicted his win against Joe Frazier. It was Ali who gave her the nickname “Madam Auring.”

Slapshock frontman Jamir Garcia was found lifeless inside his Quezon City home on Thursday morning, November 26.
According to a report by Quezon City Police District Talipapa police lieutenant colonel Christine Tabdi, Jamir was declared dead on arrival when his body was brought to the Metro North Medical Center and Hospital.
Ramon Revilla Sr.
Former actor and senator Ramon Revilla Sr. passed away on June 26 due to heart failure. His death was confirmed by his son, actor-turned-politician Bong Revilla Jr., through an emotional video he posted on his official Facebook page.

Maria Azucena “Manay Ichu” Vera-Perez Maceda, a well-known and well-respected personality in the film industry, passed away on September 7. She was 77 years old. Manay Ichu was one of the key persons behind various Philippine cinema organizations, including Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (Mowelfund), Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP), and so many more.
Edgar Quizon
The Quizon clan mourned the death of former actor Edgardo "Edgar" Quizon, who reportedly died of pneumonia at the age of 63. Edgar is the son of the late comedy legend Dolphy with Engracita “Grace” Dominguez, a former actress. Actor-director Eric Quizon took to Instagram to pay tribute to his Kuya Edgardo.
