Rachelle Ann Go’s star shines even brighter as her performance as Gigi Van Tranh in Miss Saigon earned her the Best Featured Actress Award in the year 2014 for Broadway World West End Awards.
Her portrayal of a bar girl named Gigi was originally portrayed by fellow Filipina stage performer Isay Alvarez in 1998.
Rachelle, who is now currently based in London, surprised and honored our country by performing in one of the most watched musicals in the history. Since then, her name and role became one of the most talked about characters in the world of theater.
The Broadway World West End announced Rachelle’s win in their website last Friday, November 28, 2014.
