BLACKPINK's Jennie becomes first K-pop soloist with 3 songs on Billboard Hot 100 in a week
BLACKPINK's Jennie's solo debut album Ruby just made Billboard Hot 100 history!
Three tracks from her album, "Like Jennie," "Handlebars" with Dua Lipa, and "ExtraL" featuring Doechii, have secured spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in the same week.
Her main track, "Like Jennie," made its grand debut at No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Handlebars" soared even higher at No. 80. Meanwhile, "ExtraL" made a triumphant return, re-entering the chart at No. 99.
"Like Jennie" also reached No. 3 on Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) and No. 5 on the Global 200 chart.
According to Jennie's agency, the global icon has officially become the first female K-pop soloist to place three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in one week.
With the latest Billboard Hot 100 entries, a total of five songs from Jennie's 15-track album have now made it onto the chart.
Earlier releases, "Mantra" and "Love Hangover," featuring Dominic Fike, were previously ranked No. 98 and No. 96 in October last year and last month, respectively.
Jennie previously released Ruby on March 7. She released her comeback solo single, "Mantra," in October.
