Kim Soo-hyun's agency to address allegations in official statement next week
South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun is set to release a statement next week regarding the recent allegations involving him and the late actress Kim Sae-ron.
On Thursday, March 13, Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, released a brief statement to media outlets that reads:
"Hello, this is Gold Medalist.
We would like to issue a statement regarding the recent accusations made against Kim Soo Hyun by 'HOVERLAB.'
In order to respond to these baseless rumors and allegations, Gold Medalist will release a full length statement based on factual evidence next week.
We apologize for causing the public discomfort with our delayed response. Please understand that this decision is intended to dismiss the rampant spread of one-sided claims.
Thank you."
This recent statement comes after Garosero Research Institute unveiled new information on Tuesday, March 11, which included a photo of Soo-hyun kissing Sae-ron on the cheek and a text message allegedly sent by the late actress to the actor.
On Monday, March 10, the Queen of Tears actor denied claims that he was in a long-term relationship with the late actress.
"The claims about Kim Soo-hyun made in the broadcast are completely false. We are reviewing the strongest possible legal action," Gold Medalist stated.
The allegations started when the YouTube channel Hoverlab claimed that the two were allegedly in a relationship for six years, starting when Sae-ron was 15.
Sae-ron was formerly handled by Gold Medalist. She died last month at 24 years old.
