Jennylyn Mercado admits having first day jitters shooting her newest TV project

Showbiz power couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are the lead stars in the big TV series 'Sanggang Dikit.'

Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado and award-winning actor Dennis Trillo are still in the middle of promoting their new movie Everything About My Wife but the showbiz power couple have also started on their new TV project.

Jennylyn talked about her new TV series Sanggang Dikit in an exclusive chat with Lhar Santiago.

The home-grown Kapuso actress admitted that she was still adjusting shooting for this action-packed project.

“Hindi nawawala 'yung first day jitters, kasi pagka unang araw medyo may kaba talaga,” Jen told 24 Oras.

She added, “Tapos natataranta ka, hindi mo masyado ma-memorize 'yung linya ganun sa umpisa. So, hopefully sa second day wala ng ganu'n.”

Both Jennylyn and Dennis are also focused on their training session for Sanggang Dikit, especially on how to properly handle a gun during their action scenes.

“Siyempre importante 'yung training para makabisado namin 'yung mga paghawak ng baril, tamang posture, tamang form. 'Yung mga parts din ng baril, importante na kabisado namin.”

Now that Jennylyn is busy taping for their show, her husband Dennis Trillo is the one taking care of their daughter Dylan.

How are they preparing their daughter for their busy days ahead?

Jen shared, “Si Dylan, sinasanay na namin, 'Oh! Pupunta na ng work si mom,' Dylan will reply, 'Okay!' Naiintidihan naman na niya, at saka madali siya kausap. 'Pag sinabi mo work, sasabihin niya, 'Okay mom. See you later,' ganyan.”

Jennylyn gave birth to Dylan in April 2022. She also has a son named Alex Jazz with ex-partner Patrick Garcia. Meanwhile, Calix Andreas is Dennis's son with former beauty queen Carlene Aguilar.
