ENHYPEN prepares for their Coachella performance in 2025
Filipino Engenes are all hyped up as their favorite K-pop idols, ENHYPEN, arrived in Manila for their “Des7ined Fun Meeting” prepared by Dunkin' at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City tonight, December 6.
Before this event, the seven-member group--composed of Niki, Heesung, Jake, Sunghoon, Jungwon, Sunoo, and Jay--met GMANetwork.com and other select local media for a brief press conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Here, the group expressed their gratitude to Pinoy Engenes who continuously support them in their endeavors.
Sunghoon said in Korean, “First of all, thanks to the warm greetings and the support from our fans that we're able to celebrate this year-end party with our Engenes. We'll do our best and perform in our best shape to celebrate with joy with our Engenes tonight.”
When asked what fans can expect from them tonight, Sunoo hinted (in Korean), “We actually prepared a performance that's actually never shown to our Engenes before. I hope you stay tuned and look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, Jake talked about their newly released album Daydream.
He said, “It's a continuing album from our previous one, which is ROMANCE: UNTOLD. It touches on the basic concept and continues the storyline from the UNTOLD album.
“But as you know, we put out two new songs 'Daydream' and 'No Doubt.' They're both something that we haven't tried before. The style of the songs is very new to us, so it's a very nice new challenge as a group. I think, through this album, we like to open a new vision for new styles in music. I hope from this album, we'll be able to explore more types of music.”
Aside for promoting this album. ENHYPEN also promises more surprises in the coming new year, one of which is their performance in the annual music and arts festival Coachella.
Haesung said in Korean, “First of all, there were a lot of goals that we have set for the previous years. Thank you so much for Engenes for allowing us to achieve those goals.
“Also, we actually have a lot of goals set for next year. We will do our best to accomplish them one by one, step by step. Actually, we have Coachella being prepared. We have a lot of things being prepared for next year, so I hope you could look forward to it.”
Enhypen will perform at the Coachella on April 12 and 19. They are the second K-pop boy group to perform in the said event, following ATEEZ this year.
Before this, the group will return to the Philippines for their "Walk the Line" Tour at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan on March 1, 2025.
