V of BTS to ARMYs: “Are you doing well? Did you see the snow?”

BTS member V recently showed his continuous love and dedication to ARMY through a surprise update on social media.

The K-pop star posted on the group's Weverse account photos of himself in uniform during his mandatory military service. Many ARMYs were thrilled as V showcased his fit and charming appearance.

Along with the picture of himself, V also posted a beautiful snapshot of the winter scenery in South Korea. In the caption, he checked in with fans as he asked if they were doing well during the winter season

"Are you doing well? Did you see the snow? It's the beginning of winter," he wrote.

Fans flooded the comment section with admiration for V's photo, leaving heartwarming messages of support. Some even replied with a few reminders for V to stay warm and safe during the cold season.

V and fellow BTS member RM began their military service in December 2023. This year, BTS members Jin and J-Hope have completed their training and both started resuming their solo activities.

Meanwhile, V is gearing up for the release of his new digital single "Winter Ahead." It will be released on November 29, at 2 p.m. (KST). Fans are excited as it will also be a collaboration with the well-known South Korean ballad singer, Park Hyo-shin. BigHit Music describes "Winter Ahead" as a jazz-pop song with a deep soulful vibe, highlighting the harmonious vocals of both artists. The song's message centers on finding happiness with someone by your side.

In addition, V will make this holiday season even more special with his upcoming rendition of the classic winter song, "White Christmas." However, this version comes with a unique twist. The song also features a duet with the late original singer, Bing Crosby, blending his vocals with V's performance.

The BTS singer shared that it is a privilege to create this project in memory of his favorite American singer. "I grew up listening to his song 'It's Been a Long, Long Time' countless times a day, and I feel incredibly fortunate and honored to have sung along on 'White Christmas' with the voice of someone I consider an idol," he stated in Billboard.

"White Christmas" will be released on December 6 at 2 p.m. (KST).
