BTS V announces new single in collaboration with Park Hyo-shin
This year's Christmas season has become even more special for K-pop fans as several their idols unveiled exciting comebacks and projects.
Among them was BTS vocal member V, who surprised his ARMY fans with another upcoming single for the holidays. Riding the festive wave, V revealed that he will collaborate with South Korean ballad singer Park Hyo-shin on a new digital single titled "Winter Ahead."
The announcement was made through BTS's official social media pages (such as Weverse), and fans are thrilled by the collaboration. Park Hyo-shin is known in South Korea for his emotionally charged vocals. Blending it with V's rich, deep voice, fans expressed anticipation to the heartfelt song from the two artists.
According to BigHit Music, “Winter Ahead” is described as a jazz-pop song with a heavy vibe, designed to showcase the peaceful and harmonious vocal tones of both artists. The song carries the message about finding happiness with someone by your side.
In addition, the agency also expressed their hope that this emotional track will bring warmth to fans and their loved ones as the year comes to a close.
The digital single "Winter Ahead" is scheduled for release on November 29 at 2 p.m. (KST). Fans can now pre-save and pre-order the song.

Meanwhile, V has another surprise in store this holiday season. The K-pop star recently teased fans about his upcoming rendition of the classic winter song, "White Christmas." However, this version comes with a unique twist. The song also features a duet with the original singer, Bing Crosby, blending his vocals with V's performance.
In a statement to Billboard, the K-pop superstar shared his excitement about the collaboration. "I'm so grateful to have had the chance to be featured in a song with my all-time favorite jazz artist, Bing Crosby," V said.
He also expressed delight in working on a project in commemoration of his longtime favorite artist. "I grew up listening to his song 'It's Been a Long, Long Time' countless times a day, and I feel incredibly fortunate and honored to have sung along on 'White Christmas' with the voice of someone I consider an idol."
V's cover song of "White Christmas" will be released on December 6 at 2 p.m. (KST).
