Brunei's Prince Abdul Mateen, the tenth child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, has been the talk of the town lately after marrying commoner fiancée Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah in a 10-day lavish wedding ceremony that commenced on January 7.
But before his grandiose royal nuptials, he's already been on the radar of netizens because of his captivating looks and commendable military service that stole the hearts of many. Not to mention, Prince Abdul Mateen has a large social media following with 2.9 million followers on Instagram, making him one of the world's most influential royals.
In fact, he was among the SEA Games 2019's 'hothletes' after playing for Brunei's polo team.

He has represented Brunei in the 2017 and 2019 Southeast Asian Games and has won numerous awards for Polo. Prince Abdul has also been honored as recipient of the Royal Family Order of the Crown of Brunei (DKMB) and Sulat of Brunei Golden Jubilee Medal.
Military
In 2010, Prince Abdul was admitted to the Commissioning Course for Regular Army Officers in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

In 2011, he graduated as officer cadet of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. and was promoted as Second Lieutenant.
Education
He took up Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from King's College London and awarded a Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy from the The School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
Pilot
In 2018, he qualified as a helicopter pilot in Defence Helicopter Flying School at RAF Shawbury in England, where he was awarded a RAF Wing Badge.
