MIDZYs, the wait is finally over!

K-pop group ITZY has thrilling news for their fans as they're set to release a brand new album this October.

The group announced on social media that their upcoming album, Gold, will feature 11 new songs. This highly anticipated release includes two title tracks, "GOLD" and "Imaginary Friend," as well as final versions of fan favorites like "BORN TO BE," "Mr. Vampire," "UNTOUCHABLE," "Dynamite," and "Escalator."

Gold will drop on October 15 at 6:00 p.m. (KST), coinciding with the release of the music video for the title track "GOLD." The announcement has already made waves on social media, with the phrase "ITZY IS BACK" trending and reaching the Top 15 viral topics on X (formerly Twitter).

Adding to the excitement, the album marks Lia's official return after a lengthy hiatus due to health issues. Her comeback was celebrated in the group's recent vlog, which left many fans emotional. ITZY also shared a heartwarming reel of the members hugging and smiling, captioned "We are FIVE."

ITZY is a five-member girl group under JYP Entertainment that debuted in February 2019. The members are Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna.

The K-pop group previously visited the Philippines in August for their "Born To Be" concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. They also returned last year for their "Wannabe With Bench" fan meeting and the 2023 Asia Artist Awards.
