Anthony Rosaldo takes voice lessons from Broadway star Joseph London
Kapuso singer Anthony Rosaldo is having the time of his life in New York!
He went to see several plays on Broadway including Hadestown, The Notebook The Musical, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Wicked.
Anthony also took the time to learn something new as he took voice lessons from Broadway star Joseph London.
Joseph is an American singer and actor who has performed in musicals such as Chicago, Cats, Avenue Q, and Sweeney Todd.
He is also a voice teacher and has a studio in New York.
Anthony shared a snippet of his session with Joseph on his Instagram account.
"Guys, nandito na tayo sa Open Jar Studios. Excited akong ma-meet si Joseph kasi napanood ko siya sa Chicago a few nights ago. He's an excellent teacher and I'm excited to meet him," he says in the video.
Anthony then proceeds to sing a mash-up of Ella Fitzgerald's version of "Over the Rainbow" and "Home" by Diana Ross from the musical The Wiz.
Joseph is impressed by Anthony's beautiful voice and breath capacity and provided him several techniques to further improve his singing style.
Anthony most recently starred as Roger in the 2024 production of the iconic musical Rent in the Philippines, alongside his fellow Kapuso singers Garrett Bolden and Thea Astley.
Prior to that, he was part of the 2023 production of the Eraserheads jukebox musical "Ang Huling El Bimbo".
