Vice Ganda earns praise from 'LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines' director Randolph Longjas

Multi-awarded comedian, host, and box-office superstar Vice Ganda has been officially announced as the host of the hit international comedy series LOL: Last One Laughing, which will be streaming soon on Prime Video Philippines.

But before the grand premiere of this much-waited project of Meme Vice, GMANetwork.com and some select members of the media got the chance to personally meet the men and women behind LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines, led by director Randolph Longjas and the showrunner and producer Madonna Tarrayo.

Direk Randolph was asked how he could describe in his own words LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines.

“Kaguluhan talaga siya. It's a riot because, imagine gathering 10 of the best comedians in the Philippines in one house and their main goal is to make each other laugh with a twist na hindi sila tatawa.” he stated.

“Ultimately, the craziest idea na puwede mo ibigay kasi nga, kahit conversation pa lang, when I throw that concept to them to my friends, silang lahat, 'Huh? Is that possible?'

“Parang it's so hard being a Filipino na bungisngis tayo, lagi tayong tumatawa. So 'yun parang it's something that is new, we haven't seen in it.”

In addition, the talented director of LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines showered their host, Vice Ganda, with lots of praises for being involved with the ins and outs of the comedy series.

Randolph shared his experience collaborating with Vice: “She was involved. She was very collaborative, kasi we had a briefing with her and other session with her. And then made sure that the activities in place she knows also.”

“She really wants to be part of the show. She owns the show!”
