Marian Rivera is grateful for the recognition at the 72nd FAMAS Awards
Kapuso power couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera were among the celebrities who were recognized at the recently concluded 72nd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts & Sciences (FAMAS) Awards.
The Kapuso Primetime King and Queen received the Bida sa Takilya award for their hit comeback movie, Rewind, which is the highest-grossing film of all time. Rewind also bagged the award for Best Sound.
In an Instagram post, the My Guardian Alien lead star uploaded a video of her and her husband at the event and expressed her gratitude for their latest award.
“We are truly grateful for this recognition. Maraming salamat po!” she wrote, adding the hashtags Bida sa Takilya and FAMAS 2024.
Prior to this, Dingdong and Marian were hailed as Box-Office Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema and Most Popular Love Team for Movies at the Box Office Entertainment Awards 2024 for their film Rewind.
Marian currently stars as Katherine/Grace in the family drama series My Guardian Alien, which airs every Monday to Friday at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime, while Dingdong is the game master of Family Feud, which airs every 5:40 p.m. on GMA.
The renowned actress is also set to star in the 2024 Cinemalaya entry titled Balota, which is co-produced by GMA Pictures with GMA Entertainment Group, in cooperation with Cinemalaya.
