Empress Schuck: 'This year, we would've been a family of four or even five. From two embryos, to one, then to none.'
It's a heartbreaking moment for actress Empress Schuck as she revealed her miscarriage on Instagram last January 1.
In her social media post, Empress shared pictures of her sonogram and positive pregnancy tests with the caption "This year, we would've been a family of four or even five. From two embryos, to one, then to none."
She also shared how heartbroken she was with the lines "I'm still not sure how to talk about it. I just know that sometimes our plans for ourselves don't align with God's plans for us."
Empress then thanked her non-showbiz husband, Vino Guingona, for being by her side and comforting her through the mixed emotions she's experiencing. The actress also added, "You are truly God's blessing to me. We may not exactly understand how we feel about this but having each other is enough to say that everything will be ok."
The couple also thanked their family's care and love in the end of the caption.
