Michael V. recalls the moment MTRCB summoned him for controversial 'Bubble Gang' sketch
Multi-awarded comedian and content creator Michael V. unearthed an old notice from the Movie & Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) in 2013 about a controversial portion of a Bubble Gang episode on November 29, 2013.
An old report from PEP.PH identified that the sketch “D Adventures of Susie Lualhati” featuring Bitoy and Rufa Mae Quinto was the one being pointed out in the notice with “alleged scenes of discriminatory and derogatory portrayal of a woman.”
In the caption of his social media post Direk Michael wrote, “THROWBACK to when things got real for the Gang.
“We learn. We adapt. We persevere.”

The Kapuso ace comedian has also been recognized internationally before by winning at least three times in the Asian TV awards for the category of Best Comedy Performance by an Actor.
